Having reached and founded the orc's new homeland, Durotar, the trolls carved out another home for themselves — this time among the Echo Isles on the eastern shores of the new orc kingdom. However, with another approach by Kul Tiras and its navy, the Darkspear were forced to retreat inland under the onslaught of the misguided commander Daelin Proudmoore. The trolls, fighting alongside their Horde brethren led by the beastmaster Rexxar, defeated the enemy and reclaimed their new home. Shortly thereafter, a witch doctor by the name of Zalazane began using dark magic to take the minds of his fellow Darkspear. As his army of mindless followers grew, Vol'jin ordered the free trolls to evacuate, and Zalazane took control of the Echo Isles. The Darkspear have since settled on the nearby shore, naming their new village after their old leader, Sen'jin. From Sen'jin Village they, along with their allies, send forces to battle Zalazane and his enslaved army. The Darkspears’ efforts, however, failed to drive Zalazane from the Echo Isles
The Trolls in Sen'jin would suddenly be forced to deal with other matters then Zalazane when the rift would open near Razor Hill. They learned of the conflict by Wyvern riders and quickly sprung into action to aid those who once came to their aid long ago. Flanking from the south along with other Horde forces flanking from the Barrens and Orgrimmar, the Ethereals were soon defeated and the Priest and Witchdoctors of the Darkspears were ordered by Thrall to begin to aid shamans and druids in finding out the cause of the rifts.
Eventually the cause was centered to ley-lines and Hyjal was the next destination for the Horde. Thrall ordered a call to arms and had the army lead by High Overlord Varok Saurfang, who dubbed the army The Might of Kalimdor. Vol'jin decided that Rokhan and Vornal would represent him in vacant leaders of the Darkspears accompanying the army. The Horde would make it to Hyjal around the same time that the Night Elves did but before tensions could burst the Ethereals surged forward and begin to attack both armies. After a rather desperate battle every living thing was sucked into the rift and dumped out unto a new world..
Once there the Darkspear, like the Tauren, got caught up in the split between the Orc leaders. A few would decide to join the Red Lak'tuk clan, it was as if the prospect of savagery hit an old nerve with them. Rokhan and Master Vornal had another idea: Vornal saw this as a blessing from the Loa to reconnect with them, and revert to their old ways, but unfortunately both Vornal and Rokhan still felt loyalty to the Orcs for rescuing them. Rokhan decided to help aid in the search for Saurfang and many of the Darkspear joined him, including Vornal. The same night when The Red Lak'tuk Clan burned the camp full of 'traitors' many Darkspear watched the events unfold, having camped a ways outside of the camp they managed to launch a successful counterattack, allowing those still alive in the camp to flee into the wilderness. The following morning the Darkspear decided to stay as neutral as possible with both of the Orc groups. Within their own group they are allowed to practice their art freely, without prejudice. Many still refuse cannibalism but a few handful, if given the chance would gladly feast on another humanoid. As for the Orcs Rokhan and Vornal allow the Trolls to make a choice between which group a Darkspear would rather help.
Goals
The Trolls right now are currently facing a moral dellima and no one knows what side to pull for in the Orc conflict. They are also dealing with acts of cannibalism and whether or not to allow it with such low populations and unkown species on this new land. Like everyone other race they wish to find their way off the new land and back to Azeroth where they can reunite their small Tribe once more. They are also looking to set up a village complete with the perfect area to worship the Loa.
