History: Following the victory at Mount Hyjal and the defeat of the Burning Legion, Thrall gathered his people

and resolved to find a place for them in the rugged, beautiful lands of the Barrens. He founded Durotar, named after his heroic father. Its capital city was Orgrimmar, named for Orgrim Doomhammer. After many months, things began to pull together. The orcs were fleshing out Durotar, the tauren had gone into Mulgore, and the trolls had settled on the Echo Isles off the coast. This peace only lasted for three years until the Horde was thrown into a new conflict...

The first rift opened up just outside Raven Hill, and within moments the newly built Tirigarde Keep was destroyed by a swarm of ethereals. Luckily Horde scouts were able to witness this event and managed to be prepared for the swarm at Raven Hill. The ethereals surrounded the city but were unable to break through the line of troops and eventually Horde forces from Orgrimmar, Sen'jin, and the Barrens reinforced and flanked the swarm, and effectively pushed the swarm back and with the aide of Shamans they managed to close the rift.More rifts opened in the Horde's lands and eventually to Thrall's surprise this was happening all over Azeroth. The creatures were just randomly attacking whatever wasn't Ethereal. Thrall would act fast and quickly set the Horde's top Shamans and Druids to work on finding out why the rifts were randomly appearing around Kalimdor and unleashing destruction. Eventually Thrall even asked Vol'jin to get the Darkspear's best Priests to communicate with their Loa to find solutions. It would be weeks before the combined efforts of the researchers found the source: A ley-line connected to the Hyjal. Thrall quickly ordered a call to arms for every Horde available to join an army led by Varok Saurfang, and the Kor'kron. The Horde would manage to reach the source of the Kalimdor rift epidemic at almost the same time as the Night Elves would. Before tensions could burst the Rift begin to surge and ethereals began to swarm the Night Elf and Horde armies. The battle seemed to rage on and on and for every ethereal slain it would seem that two more would replace it. Saurfang saw that both his own and the Night Elf forces were on the verge of defeat and prepared to order a full retreat, when the rift began to surge once more and suddenly it seemed as if the wind had stopped blowing and many would find it harder and harder to breathe. Suddenly as if gravity had become nonexistent everyone was plucked off of their feet and were thrown forward ethereals included. Within moments every living being in the area had disappeared off of Hyjal including the rift. Those that went through would wake up on a new world far different from Azeroth entirely.

Once in this strange land they quickly found out Saurfang was unaccounted for and without wasting a minute Saurfang's right hand man Warlord Or'barokh established himself as leader of the Horde. Or'barokh, a vicious and cunning Blackrock Orc became savage and ruthless and his acts mirrored that of an Orc in the First War. Instead of trying to learn about this new land and finding Varok, Or'Barokh was more interested in killing anything that he decided was worth killing, including members of the Horde. Captain Bragor Bloodfist of the Kor'kron became worried about the status of High Overlord Saurfang and gathered warriors to go find him, and without knowing members of the Might of Kalimdor that had grown tired of Or'Barokh's savagery had latched on to this group, and soon Or'Barokh saw this as a threat to his reign. The night before the group set out to go find Saurfang and a place away from Or'Barokh, he came in and slaughtered whatever he could grasp between his hands. Bragor Bloodfist ordered his camp to retreat, so they scattered and by the end of the night Or'Barokh had single-handedly cause a faction rift within a rift. Most who joined Or'Barokh were just as savage as him while others were forced to join or die, this group became known as the Red Lak'tuk Clan. Meanwhile Captian Bragor Bloodfist's group consisted of those trying to find shelter from Or'Barokh and his raiders while trying to find Varok Saurfang. They became known as Saurfang's Lok'navod. Both of the two groups mainly consist of Orcs with other members of the Horde choosing sides.


The goal with all Orcs for one is to find a source of food on this new world. On Durotar the Orcish people had become suited to boar and meats of the other various species that inhabited the Barrens and Durotar region. With most of the land unsuitable for farming in their region they quickly became suited to just an all meat diet with small amounts of fruits that could have been brought in from trade. The food they brought with them has either been hoarded by the Red Lak'tuk clan or is scattered around the ground zero area which is a constant battle zone between ethereals, Horde, and Alliance forces all fighting each other, even in the Red lak'tuk Clan starvation is never far off with the stronger members trying to own the most food going as far as killing their own members for food. Within Saurfang's Lok'nadvod what little food they did have was taken when they were slaughtered and until they find safety it is hard to establish a steady food income. They are also currently divided into two large factions, with both of them fighting each other along with what Orcs have not attached themself to a group. Shamans need to desperately find a way to connect with the elements so that they can actually do shaman stuff.

Saurfang's Loknavod

The main goal of this group is to find refuge from the Red Lak'tuk Clan so that they can begin to find food and eventually establish search parties for finding High Overlord Varok Saurfang and then ultimately finding a way back to Azeroth.

Red Lak'tuk Clan

The main goal of this group is to basically kill anything not in their group.

You're right! o: I meant Razor Hill... Too much time spent in First War settings xD

This might require a little write-over, but I won't press you to do it immediatly. I'm still overthinking the details.
